In reference to JLA #2, why is Clark uneasy with Ollie. And how do Bruce and WW feel about Ollie as a team member. I do like Roy getting his chance, it's about time. I can't wait to see he's action figure |

When Ollie died, back around GA issue #90 (around Zero Hour) Clark didn't save him. That whole thing tied into Dark Knight Returns because it looks like Supes was gonna rip Green Arrow's arm off. It was a great run of the comic even with the huge turnover of creators. |

I think Bruce sees in Ollie what he could have become had his parents not been murdered. They both came from money and have trained themselves to the peak of human ability. But Ollie isn't mired in depression like Batman. And he revels in his millionaire playboy status rather than playing a role. Diana respects Ollie's martial prowess, particularly in archery, and his commitment to his ideals, though she would disagree with many of them. |
