Hi Brad,
Now that you're run on JLA is over, I'd like to start a thread with some questions. I hope this is cool?
On to the questions:
1.) I've heard that Dr. Light II and Zatanna are your 2 favorite DC heroines. How come neither one of them made the team? No space or are there other plans for them both?
2.) Where did you come up with the idea to use the Hall of Justice AND the Watchtower for the new JLA? Usuaally a team only has 1 headquarters. I applaud you for thinking outside the box.
3.) If you had 1 more issue of JLA to write, what would the story be about?

Sorry -- been meaning to do this.
1) Zee did appear, but I felt she needed some healing time. Same with Dr. Light. After such a disaster with her namesake, felt it would be pushing too fast to bring her in.
2) I couldn't decide. Then realized I didn't have to. Made far more sense once the box broke.
3) You may one day see it.
As for which 10/11 made the team, I went with the ones that made the most sense AND that I had true story for. I didn't have story for the younger Aquaman they were introducing, or the changes J'onn was going through at the time. As you can see in 12, I love those characters, but I needed to tell story. |

Thanks for the answers Brad.
While I wish Zee and the female Dr. Light would have made the team, I can understand your reasons for holding off on them both.
It's great to hear that you may be writing more JLA stories. I smell a JLA: Classified story coming! |
