I can't weigh in on the JLA vol. 2 collection, as it hasn't come out yet, but I've gotta give a shout-out to Brad on the JLA and IC collections. In the past I was dissapointed when comic arcs filled with stunning art and smart storylines were released as cheap paperback trades with a splashy, eye-sore cover, all action and bright backgrounds. It's hard to sell a family member of friend on the integrity of comics and then show them a book with an image of a 'roided Superman beating the crap out of a purple Thanagarian space monkey on the cover.

But your collections are definatley the answer to that--strong use of white space, classy, and just damn cool-looking on the bookshelf. Mr. Meltzer, I can't seem to find from looking at the credits who designed these books, but let them know they did a snappy job indeed.
