Scott Rolle
Scott Rolle is a Major in the United States Army Reserve and a trial attorney. He is also a graduate of the FBI’s National Law Institute and a former prosecutor in the Frederick County DA’s office. Rolle resides in Frederick County, MD with his wife Stacy and their four children.
Christine McKinley
Christine McKinley is a mechanical engineer and is currently managing sustainable commercial construction. She has a degree in Mechanical Engineering from the California Polytechnic University. McKinley grew up in Alaska and lives in Los Angeles.
Buddy Levy
Buddy Levy is a journalist, historian and author of several books including the new release: River of Darkness: Francisco Orellana’s Legendary Voyage of Death and Discovery Down the Amazon. In 2009, his book Last Stand of the Aztecs was recognized with nominations for awards from the Pacific Northwest Booksellers Association, the Before Columbus Foundation and PEN Center USA. As a freelance journalist he has covered adventure sports and lifestyle/travel subjects around the world, including several Eco-Challenges and other adventure expeditions in Argentina, Borneo, Europe, Greenland, Morocco, and the Philippines. His magazine articles and essays have appeared in Backpacker, Big Sky Journal, Couloir, Discover, High Desert Journal, Poets & Writers, River Teeth, Ski, Trail Runner, Utne Reader, TV Guide, and VIA. Buddy’s other books include Conquistador: Hernan Cortes, King Montezuma, American Legend: The Real-Life Adventures of David Crockett and Echoes On Rimrock: In Pursuit of the Chukar Partridge. He is clinical associate professor of English at Washington State University, and lives in northern Idaho with his wife Camie, his children Logan and Hunter, and his black Lab Dugan.
